In response to the guidance that has been issued by our Cheif Dental Officer and the British Dental Association, to further reduce the transmission of COVID-19, we have decided to limit our services to DENTAL EMERGENCIES ONLY. (Click here for more details)
PLEASE NOTE: If you are infected, live with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, or have any symptoms of COVID-19 (a fever or new continuous cough) then please DO NOT attend the practice, you must self-isolate in accordance to gov.uk . If you have a dental emergency during this time you can call NHS 111.
Our primary aim during this time is to provide a level of service that will ensure that our patients are not suffering with a dental emergency, and thus lessen any unnecessary burden on our National Health Service during this difficult period.
We hope that by reducing our services, it will limit the risks of transmission to our patients and staff members.
If you already have an appointment booked, our reception team will be contacting you to cancel, this will be done on a monthly basis until we are able to resume a normal service.
If you are suffering with a dental emergency (for example: pain, swelling, bleeding, trauma) please call the practice from 9am. At present, we will be running this service during normal working hours, but please try to call us in the morning and the dentist will provide a telephone consultation to determine if you can be seen safely and appropriately.
Appointments can only be booked over the phone, we urge you not to attend the practice without an appointment. Unfortunately due to the highly infective nature of COVID-19, our front door will be closed and patients will be advised to wait in their car or outside until they are ready to be seen.
For our Denplan, DPAS and private patients, if you need to be seen out of hours or over the weekend, please contact the North & West Bristol Emergency Dentist on 07770941848, this service operates until 21:00 and the fee should be covered by your dental insurance if you have this in place.
If you are an NHS patient calling with a dental emergency outside of our opening hours then please call NHS 111.
